Surviving sexual violence impacts everyone’s mental and emotional well-being differently. Often, survivors choose to access the support of talk therapy to work through the impact of their experience.
Options for this type of support include:
A non-profit, government funded organization that provides free counselling services to all genders who have experienced recent or historic sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse.
Provides free individual and group mental health care at community health facilities on PEI.
Not for profit organization that offers individual, family, and couple’s counselling.
Private Counselling
Available for a fee. Professionals include Social Workers, Counselling Therapists, and Psychologists.
